HOLIDAY SHORTBREAD DROPS

Holiday Shortbread Drops
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts
Cream the butter and sugar. Blend in the egg yolk, vanilla,
and salt. Mix well. Stir in the flour. Mix in the raisins and
the walnuts. Drop by small teaspoonfuls onto greased
baking sheets. Bake at 400 F. for 10-12 minutes or until
delicately browned on the bottom. YIELD: 4 Dozen
