SUMMARY



The Talent Initiatives Recruiter (TIR) will take the lead in various talent initiatives in the areas of Recruiting and Talent Management for FINCA International. The TIR will oversee the day to day management of FINCA’s Manager Development Program (MDP), Internship Program, and Volunteer Program. The TIR will also support any other alternate staffing initiatives and talent projects which help FINCA meet its short, medium and long term staffing needs. The TIR may also participate in other human resources projects as assigned.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Works with college placement officers and deans in order to get student/graduates referrals and eventually sign internship agreements that will allow interns to get credit.

Revitalizes and manages FINCA’s development and college relations programs.

Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.

Coordinates participation in, sets up display, and works at campus career fairs, makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.

Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs for the programs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.

Writes job descriptions or reviews and edits job descriptions written by others.

Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.

Interviews and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in organization.

Writes and places job advertising in various media.

Helps oversee and maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Performs reference and background checks on applicants.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR Management, Psychology, or Business
Ideal candidates will have at least one year of recruiting experience, college recruiting experience preferred
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) very valuable
Strong networking and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with staff and candidates
Ability to appropriately handle and work with confidential information
Ability to work flexible hours
Language Skills
Fluency in English required
Fluency in Spanish, French, and/or Russian desirable

KEY DELIVERABLES
Revamp, increase participation in, and oversee FINCA’s Manager Development Program and Credit Apprenticeship Program
Establish and maintain relationships with Universities in the DC area

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Availability to travel up to 10% of the time
