RSS is a family of web font formats coded in XML used to provide subscribers with frequently updated information.RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web and want to updated with all latest happening so RSS allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in.The user subscribes to a feed by entering into the reader the feed?s URI or by clicking an RSS icon that initiates the subscription process and the RSS reader checks the user?s subscribed feeds regularly and downloads any updates in XML- formatted plain text.

RSS allows users to avoid manually inspecting all of the websites they are interested in, and instead subscribe to websites such that all new content is pushed onto their browsers when it becomes available.Content viewed in the RSS reader or news aggregator is place known as an RSS feed.
