Only eight out of the 12 thousand men remained with our Prophet (pbuh). They remained for the sake of Allah (swt) and our beloved Prophet (pbuh). And, Allah we Ta ala didn’t deprive them of His help. This was a test for them, since they were elated by their large numbers.

By the Grace of Allah subhanehu we Ta’ala, and the wisdom... of our beloved Prophet (pbuh) and the eight men who remained with him... the army has gathered once again. [the verse at-Tawbah. 9:25 was revealed then] Then our beloved Prophet pbuh) picked up a handful of sand. and.. hurled it at the enemy's faces while saying: "May your faces be shameful." On that day, there was not one among the enemies whose... heart was not tilled with tear and whose eyes were not thick with dust. If we fall apart, we have our Lord (Rabb) to bring us together again. Provided, we stand firm as those eight brave companions who... stood by our beloved Prophet (pbuh) with steadfast loyalty. Allah subhanehu we Ta ala may turn a handful of dust specks into a large army... at the same time. He never withhold His help from.. those who believe nor does He leave them to be humiliated by the enemy. May Allah (swt) be pleased with you. my Khodja. However, power was not in the numbers, but it was in relying on Allah subhanehu we Ta'ala. And this numerical strength of theirs on which they relied became the cause of such a defeat... that they fled from the battlefield in haste. Only eight out of the 12 thousand men remained with our Prophet (pbuh). They remained for the sake of Allah (swt) and our beloved Prophet (pbuh). And, Allah we Ta ala didn’t deprive them of His help. This was a test for them, since they were elated by their large numbers.

By the Grace of Allah subhanehu we Ta’ala, and the wisdom... of our beloved Prophet (pbuh) and the eight men who remained with him... the army has gathered once again. [the verse at-Tawbah. 9:25 was revealed then] Then our beloved Prophet pbuh) picked up a handful of sand. and.. hurled it at the enemy's faces while saying: "May your faces be shameful." This shows us how merciful our Lord (Rabb)is. But for us as His servants, it is appropriate to invoke Him... by the names Al-Azeez and Al-Jalil. [The All Mighty, and The One to Whom Belongs the Majesty] In our Supreme Book, in the Noble Qur’an... in the 33rd verse of Surah Luqman, we are advised to.. Let not then this present life deceive you. No let.. the Chief Deceiver deceive you, in regard to Allah. [Luqman, 31:33] Allah we Ta'ala is the Most Merciful [Al-Raheem]. And. this is unconditional truth. But, He (swt) is Al-Azeez and Al-JaliI too [The All Mighty, and The Lord of Majesty] The One who is the ultimate in honor and nobility (glory) [Quran, 4. 139] His Greatness and Grandeur encompasses everything. [Al-Mutakabbir; Qur'sn 59 23] Our Lord (Al-Rabb) warns us in the Surah an-Nasr. When the help comes from Allah, and victory (is granted)... and you see the People enter Allah's Religion (Islam) in crowds... then glorify the Praises of your Lord... and pray for His forgiveness. For He is Oft-Returning (in Grace and Mercy) " [An-Nasr 110 1-3] In other words, do not consider... this victory you have achieved as your own success. Remember A lah. to Whom the ultimate victory belongs. [refers to As Saffat, 37:173] And. glorify Him. If due to your Nafs (ego, self) you credit the victory to yourself... then you should seek forgiveness from Allah (swt). Besides, the Holy Struggle doesn’t end on the battlefield. When you return to your tribe, it still goes on. Against whom will we fight in our tribe, my Khodja?



Against your own Nafs (ego, self, soul). Aybars Our beloved Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam advised us that. The true Mujahid (fighter) is the one who strives against his lower self (nafs)." [Al-Tirmidhi. Sunan. no. 1621, 1671] For, Nafs never dies [nor sleeps]. It drives human being to evilness. He perceives himself as important. And forget about his Lord (al-Rabb). He believes the blessings and victories that Allah has bestowed upon him are due to his own merit. Did you hear of As-sahabah, whom our Prophet named "The Sword of Allah" (Saif-ul-llah)? Who was he my Khodja? Khalid ibn al-Walid, Radi Allahu anhu. [585-642 BC; one of the greatest generals in history] He was the greatest and victorious commander. Our beloved Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam, gave him... the title "The Sword of Allah” [after he broke 9 swords in Battle of Mu'tah] That is, Saif-ul-llah. He never lost a single battle. He conquered many lands and turned it into Islamic states. He vanquished so many great armies. After the years have passed... our beloved Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam. migrated... to his final adobe on Akhira. [hereafter] He (ra) continued to advance during the era of the Amir al-Mu'minin Hz. Abu Bakr (ra) [Amir al-Mu’minin - Caliph. "Commander of the Believers"] Who knows how many swords he broke in his hands.



How many enemies he brought down to their knees. And when Hz. Abu Bakr (ra) passed away and... joined his beloved friend, our Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam... it was Hz Umar ibn al-Khattab (rai who succeeded him as the 2nd Caliph (Amir al-Mu'minin) Khalid ibn al-Waiid (ra) was going from conquest to conquest. Islam was pervading the world like the season of Spring. One day. Hz Umar (ra) has. dismissed Khalid ibn al-Walid (ra) from his command post. And he said. "From now on. you will be no longer the Commander, but just like any ordinary Army soldier. Why did Hz Umar (ra) dismissed such a great and heroic Commander and... degraded him to the rank of an ordinary soldier? Yes, everybody was curious about that. Naturally, Khalid ibn al-Walid (ra) wondered about it too. Hz.Umar (ra) said to Khalid ibn al-Walid (ra)... As our beloved Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam. declared... you are "The Sword of Allah". You’re the greatest Commander. Khalid. But the people have attributed the victories and conquests to you personally. They think we are victorious because you are the Commander. They were being misled. The Victorious One is Allah (swt) The victory comes from no one but Allah [Al-Anfaal: 8:10] the victory belongs to Allah " he explained. Khalid ibn al-Walid (ra) fought then as an ordinary soldier. Allah subhanehu we Ta’ala has granted new victories to the Islam s army. Once again it became clear that... the One Who is victorious and Who grants victory, it is the Lord (al-Rabb) of the worlds only. And. while you go from victory to victory... may Allah we Ta'ala, Him Who is Al-Azeez and Al-Jahl.. [The All Mighty, and The Lord of Majesty] never allow you to forget who. . the real Victor is. Amin Amin Whatever victory we achieve in this world... the One Whom victory really belongs is Allah (swt). What matters is to be a soldier... in the cause (Daw'ah) of Allah (swt)... and, this is Allah's greatest blessing to the mankind.



Who knows how happy your father will be when he sees you. son. Yes, mother. And, I yearn so for my father, as well as for my uncles. Son Where are the letters of pardon Ertugrul Bey sent to your father? Give it to me, I II put it in your saddlebag. III tuck it into my breastplate, mother.
