Ptcl Cleverly Increased Land-line Line Rent 2012

PTCL has increased it’s land-line line rent from Rs. 174 per month to Rs. 199 per month (excluding tax) in the name of unlimited Sunday offer. In PTCL Super Sunday offers all existing and new PTCL landline Customers will now be able to make unlimited free calls from their PTCL Landlines on PTCL Network (Landline and Vfone) for 24hrs on every Sundays. And for this your land line bill has increased from Rs.174 to Rs199 per month.

So you call on Sunday or not now you have to pay more line-rent. This is the tactic used by PTCL to increase their revenue. This Sunday offer is now activated on every land line number and you don’t need to activate it but for this you have to pay more without your wish.

This kind of forceful offers/promotions should be stopped and now don’t make fool the Pakistani people. PTA should take action against PTCL why they increased line rent by forcing customers to use their offer without customer’s need.
