KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to once again join hands with the Pakistan People's Party-led coalition government, Geo News report Wednesday.
MQM will make a formal announcement to this effect shortly, sources said.
The ministers of MQM had submitted their resignations to the government but they had not been accepted. Now after the decision of the MQM's return to the government, MQM's ministers will be immediately taking charge of their posts both in the provincial and federal governments, sources added.
Earlier, a delegation of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) met with the leadership of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) here at Governor House. The meeting proved fruitful for PPP as it succeeded in wooing back the support of its off and on partner.
