RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani said measures had been taken to stop attacks on Pakistani soil launched from Afghanistan.
COAS added that the army had conducted operations in troubled areas and it was now up to the civilian administration to control the situation.
General Kayani made this statement during his address at the Pak-Saudi joint military exercise. COAS said the solution to every problem was not an army operation and the army could not remain in an area indefinitely.
