1,100 weapons recovered during search operations: Rangers

KARACHI: The Rangers have recovered 1,100 weapons during search operations in the city, Geo News reported. According to a spokesperson for the Rangers 90% of the weapons recovered are illegal.

Briefing the media about the operations the spokesperson said security had been enhanced at entry and exit points in the city while 35 different types of weapons had been recovered.

Rangers have been conducting search operations in different areas of the city following the wave of violence which plagued the metropolis during the last few months.
