GMT - 3 Hours Zikr and Nourishment.

Post by Abu Fauzi on Tue Sep 25, 2018 11:26 am

As-Salaam alaikum,

Kindly allow me to refresh your/our mind to the following facts:--

  Says Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala:--

"AND REMEMBER YOUR LORD BY YOUR TONGUE AND WITHIN YOURSELF,
HUMBLY AND IN AWE/REVERENCE, WITHOUT LOUDNESS IN WORDS, IN
THE MORNINGS AND EVENINGS; AND BE NOT AMONG THE NEGLECTFUL."
                                                                   (Surat A'araf- 7:205)

And the Noble Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said:--

"HE WHO REMEMBERS HIS LORD AND HE WHO DOES NOT REMEMBER
HIS LORD ARE LIKE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD." (Sahih Bukhari)

The body is a system that needs nourishment in every respect, the comparison between the living and the dead in above hadith is made because the soul receives tremendous nourishment during Zikr, while the heedless person goes deeper into loss without replenishing himself....  that is why we pray 5 times daily, this is the minimum the body requires to maintain our standard of morality.

In view of this, we should be constant in our Zikr everyday when we come to remember Allah in the mornings and evenings.

Best Regards.
