sar mera apne pahloo me lekar
kash koi gazal wah sunate

der kitni laga di unho ne
mar na jaun kahin aate aate

mujh se hoti ager unko ulfat
wah rakibun se keun dil lagate

elm eska to thaa aam hona
ishque aakhir kahan tak chupate

har jafa har setam bhool jate
tum bulate to keya ham na aate

jaan karte feda tum pe zahid
kash unko kabhi aazmate
