toti hai mere neend magar tum ko is sa kiya?
bajtay rehain hawoon sa daar ' tum ko is sa kiya?

tum moj moj masl-e-saba ghoomtay ho
kat jayin mere sooch k par ' tum ko is sa kiya?

auroon k hath thamo ' onhain rasta dekhoo
mein bhool jaoon apna hi ghar ' tum ko is sa kiya?

abar-e-garaze pa ko barasnay sa kiya garaz?
seepi mein ban na pay gohar' tum ko is sa kiya!

la jayin mujhy ko maal-e-ganeemat k sath adoo

tum na tu thaak ker dasht mein kham-ay laga liya
