Multan region faces CNG closure

MULTAN: All CNG stations in the Multan region have been closed for two and a half days due to which the consumers are facing severe difficulties, Geo News reported Monday.

Following the gas load management program, total 106 gas stations have been shut down in the entire region including Vihari, Khanewal, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah and Kot Addu.

Public transport owners have raised the fares following the CNG shortage and increase in oil prices. This is added to the misery of commuters.

Workers on daily wages are also facing unemployment due to the closure of gas stations.
