KABUL: Afghan President Hamid Karzai declared that his government would no longer hold talks with the Taliban adding the only Pakistan could hold talks with militants.

"Who is the other side in the peace process? I do not have any other answer but to say Pakistan is the other side in the peace talks with us," Karzai said while speaking to a group of religious leaders.

Achieving nothing after months of negotiations, Karzai said that there were no partners for dialogue among the Taliban.

The Afghan president also condemned the attack in Pakistan from Nooristan and other Afghan border areas. Karzai said he had directed the foreign ministry to raise the issue of the attacks with Pakistan.
