ECC approves increase in commission of dealers, OMCs

ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved an increase in the commission of oil marketing companies and petroleum dealers, Geo News reported.
The ECC meeting was held here on Tuesday with the Finance Minister Dr Hazeez Sheikh in chair. The meeting approved an Rs 1.18 per liter increase in the commission for petrol out of which 70 paisa will be given to the dealers and 48 paisa will be given to oil marketing companies. For diesel the commission of dealers has been increased by 50 paisa while a 40 paisa increase has been given to oil marketing companies.
The commission of dealers for one liter of diesel will be Rs 2 and for petrol it will be Rs 2.57. Oil marketing companies will have a per liter commission of Rs 1.75 for diesel and Rs 1.98 for petrol.
