QHT: Pakistan beats Ireland to reach final

DUBLIN: Pakistan defeating the host Ireland by 2-1 qualified for the final in the quadrangular hockey tournament (QHT) being played here.
In the third match of the event played here, Pakistan after a tough resistance from the host team came out successful beating Ireland by 2-1.
Pakistan’s Wasim Ahmad and penalty corner specialist Sohail Abbas scored one goal each, taking the national team to the final, where it would be facing this evening once again the host team Ireland.
