Hard rains still running riot in Sindh

BADIN: Sporadic but hard rains are running riot in other districts of Sindh after rampaging Badin and Nawabshah, Geo News reported.

The torrential showers and subsequent flooding have swamped many more villages.

Relief is still far from Badin’s rain-affectees crammed in camps suffering from hunger and diseases apart from the wrath of nature.

There has been no letup in the downpour and subsequent flooding in the already worst-hit areas.

Thousands are forced to live under the sky that has nothing else to offer but cloudburst.

Dadu, which got a break after three days, is now a pictue of rain- ravage.

Water-borne diseases are on the prowl and the number of sick is growing everyday. Many have died and more deaths are in the making.

Authorities, so far, seem to be unable to do something about it. Relief activities have failed to the match the extent of devastation underway.
