Blast near commissioner office in Quetta

QUETTA: A blast was heard in Civil Lines area of Quetta near commissioner office Wednesday, Geo News reported. According to initial reports, three people were injured in the blast.

Reports of firing were also received while some vehicles caught fire and nearby building were damaged as a result of blast.

Rescue teams reached the spot and injured were being shifted to the civil hospital.

Bomb disposal squad reached the spot to gather details about the nature of blast while fire extinguishing teams are still trying to control fire.

It is important to note that it is among the sensitive areas of the city due to the presence of the governor house, chief minister and IG house.
