Rain devastation continues, 24 perish

BADIN: Rain continued to devastate parts of Sindh as an additional 24 people were killed in various incidents.

In view of the rising level at the Left Bank Outfall Drain (LBOD), the flood water has entered many of the villages on both sides, damaging crops on hundreds of acres of land.

As a precautionary measure, the administration has started shifting people to safer places from nearby 10 union councils. Meanwhile relief operation by the army and navy personnel is underway.

Marooned people in Goth Amir Bux Kaloi are being evacuated by helicopter, it was further pointed out.
