FINCA International Junior Manager Program - Haiti

FINCA International, one of the world's leading microfinance institutions, provides financial services to more than 700,000 clients through 21 wholly-owned and operated subsidiaries in Africa, Eurasia, Latin America and the Greater Middle East. FINCA International provides the Junior Manager Progam as a means for identifying and developing future management talent within the organization.

FINCA Haiti is currently looking for candidates for its Junior Manager Program (JMP). This program will offer a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to enter into the microfinance sector and gain experience in all aspects of microfinance operations from loan origination to branch management. Candidates will have the opportunity to use their individual skills, knowledge and expertise to build institutional capacity and contribute to the strengthening and expansion of the institution. Compensation includes salary, benefits and housing.

Ideal Profile:
· Bachelors degree or equivalent and 3 - 5 years work experience/MA or MBA desired but not required
· Previous field experience in developing countries required, preferably in the region of assignment
· Study/initial work experience in the microfinance, finance and/or development fields highly desirable,
· Ability to work independently and in a start-up environment; ideal candidates are entrepreneurial and self-starters
· Experience in leading teams and capacity building
· Strong commitment to microfinance,
· Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
· Teamwork skills and respect for cultural differences,
· Leadership skills and experience in an academic and/or professional setting
· High Proficiency (Fluency preferred) in French and English required
