Heavy Rains Expected at Karachi Airport - Pakistan CAA Issues Circular

Heavy Rains in Next Two Days

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that a low pressure has developed indicating signals regarding extra ordinary rains in Karachi within next two days. Heavy widespread thunderstorm rains/showers are expected during this period.

Foregoing in view, all concerned are requested to make following arrangements for:

[*]All other necessary precautionary measures to ensure no damage to any operational facility and continuity of smooth aircraft operations.

Strict compliance on the above instructions may be ensured by all concerned for safe and smooth operations at Jinnah International Air Port (JIAP) - Karachi, during the expected rains period.
