Overview

Join hands with us to preserve the world around you for yourself and for the coming generations. Pass on this earth as enriched and green as was received by you. The purpose of this society can be summarized in three simple words: Clean, Green, and Protect. All students joining the environmental protection society and participating in Student Week will be awarded with certificates of participation.

To leave a healthy world and a sustainable environment for our generations to come

Mission

To clean, green and protect our planet by educating the society about the good in the environment and the bad being done to it; and to take measures to rehabilitate, protect and enrich the environment

Objectives

Building leadership qualities in students
Evoking a sense of responsibility
Creating awareness about the development and maintenance of a sustainable environment
Elevating the image of VU as a socially responsible organization

Activities

Discussion sessions will be held to raise awareness regarding environmental protection
Walks will be held for general awareness on “environment related days”
Different campaigns related to cleanliness, plantation and awareness day will be arranged
Competition will be held for generating ideas to clean, green and protect the environment
Eco-lesson will be shared with the students
