Overview

Welcome to the “Tourism/Hiking Club” of Virtual University of Pakistan! The purpose of this society is to encourage students to seek a level of excellence, higher than they ever imagined, in individual, group and social competence.

Vision

To promote country’s cultural and natural heritage through tourism in a sustainable way by making Pakistani Youth conversant with regional trends and diversity

Mission

Engage, Empower and Inspire (EEI) the youth to explore their motherland

Objectives

To create leadership qualities in the students
To build sense of responsibility
To prepare the students for future challenges
To make the students enjoy the soul of adventure
To increase the students’ creativity
To build the character of students
To promote idea of green environment among students

Activities

Based on the number of campuses and students in each region, the society will coordinate the tour activities in various regions/cities.

Slot 01: For tour more than a week – during semester break
Slot 02: Short tours – before/ after mid-term exam
