Yellow Fever Vaccination in Lahore

I hope below information will help those who want a yellow fever vaccine jab which is mandatory for travelt to some African countries.

DON'T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR PASSPORT ALONG

The vaccination is done at two places in Lahore, and certificate is issued on behalf of Govt of Pakistan with official stamp)

KEEP THE CERTIFICATE SAFE. IT CANNOT BE REISSUED

1- Public Health Institute,  Wood  Road, Lahore. Contact person is Mr Akram (0300-4723399).

2- Medical center inside Allama Iqbal International airport. Mr Akram (mentioned above) has the contact information of the gentleman at the airport who can arrange vaccination.

There might be a situation where the aforementioned centers have run out of stock. In that situation the vaccine may be obtained from any reputed pharmacy in Lahore city and taken to any of the above centers.

CHARGES:

It depends on the number of persons who require the jab.

- For a single person the cost is around PKR 2000
- For group (4-5 perhaps) the cost reduces dramatically

There is no official fee for the jabbing or for issuing the certificate. However they masy ask for PKR 200-300 as "fee".

VALIDITY

The vaccine is valid for a period of 10 years.
