Fast Forward's mission is to accelerate the growth of nonprofits leveraging technology for good. We run a summer accelerator program designed exclusively for tech nonprofits in which selected organizations receive mentorship, training, and capital.

Fast Forward fosters a supportive network of industry leaders to grow the sector. We want to see more organizations leverage open source software, always connected devices, inexpensive variable cost web infrastructure, APIs for most anything, and global scale to address pressing issues in education, environment, health, and poverty.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Fast Forward is seeking a fellow to support the launch of our accelerator this summer. The fellow will be Fast Forward’s first employee beyond the company’s founders and should expect exposure to a wide array of business issues in a true startup experience.

We are looking for a fellow to assist with a variety of roles, including management of the accelerator program (typically held on Wednesdays), researching optimal impact metrics, and growing our community of organizations and supporters. The fellow will work in close partnership with the organizations, mentors, and speakers in the accelerator this summer.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial self-starter whose passion sits at the unique intersection of the tech and social impact sectors.

This position is based in San Francisco, CA.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Passionate about technology and impact
Good with people and building relationships
Entrepreneurial
Good with details and managing multiple simultaneous projects
Collaborative
Available to work on Wednesday nights
