Jo tu naheen hai to phir tera intezaar kyun

Akaile pan ka safar jab mera muqadar hai
To phir Aye wada shikan teri rahguzaar kyun

Usse ganwa'n ke raho ab khizaaon ki dhoop mein
Jo woh naheen hai to phir mosam-e-bahar kyun

Ager bhulaye hue uss ko ek umar ho gayi
To phir aaj tabiyet hai soogowar kyun

Woh jin ke labon pe yaqeen-e-wafa mehek na sake
Phir un ke lams ki khowahish aik baar kyun

Jab uss ko shooq tha raston ki dhool hone ka
Palat ke dekhta jaata tha bar bar kyun
