Schedule
Opening Date and Time
January 13, 2012.
Closing Date and Time
January 17, 2012.

Scenario:
Entrepreneur is a person who invests his time and money to run a business venture. The risk of operating business reduces when the economic conditions of a country are rotary in the favor of business community like government support and good purchasing power of consumers. Unfortunately the situation is reverse in case of Pakistan. In today’s scenario, Pakistan’s economic conditions are not favorable for businessmen due to number of factors such as double figure inflation rate, energy crises, poor law and order situation, terrorism and inconsistent government policies. Resultantly the cost of doing business is increasing at an alarming rate. The business environment is no more conducive for small business growth. So Pakistani entrepreneurs are left with following options;
They can reduce their size of business operations to control the cost of business operations.
They can close their businesses in order to cope up losses
They can shift their businesses into neighbor countries where the environment is conducive for business growth.
Point of discussion In the above mentioned scenario, which aforementioned option is more suitable for Pakistani entrepreneurs and why? Give at least five arguments in the favor of your answer. Secondly, what are those challenges that could be faced by an entrepreneur if he chooses the third option?
