Advent of the internet brought a radical dramatic transition which allows people to
communicate across boundaries and states. It is also affecting the socio political structure
and personal life of an individual. The emergence of electronic communities is also a
product of internet that is a social system of virtual convergence like Facebook, Twitter,
and Myspace etc which is affecting your daily social life in some way.

With reference to above mentioned statement answer the following questions.

1. Which electronic community you have joined and why?
I have joined Facebook because most of my friends and relatives have also joined in.I tried other communities like twitter, MySpace, Hi5 but Facebook have got better features. It is easier to use.
2. Which parameters or issues you consider important to discuss with your associates or friends on this platform.

It is easier to discus different topics with friends and see comments and views of my fellows. Mostly I discuss my recent learning topics with my friends. I join groups and get more information related to my studyfield.
Relative who are far away from us. We share photos and videos of events like birthdays, Eid, parties and other functions. So that they can see those events in which they were unable to come.
3. In which way your electronic community is affecting your social life?
I have become more social now. Sitting in my room, using just a single electronic community and I am able to knw everything about my friends and assosiates as we share status, pictures, videos, comment, join groups and get more information about other people in the world and commmunicate with them.
