LARKANA: PPP Shaheed Bhutto group’s chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto has refused to attend the funeral ceremony of Begum Nusrat Bhutto Monday, Geo News reported. She said that the family would offer ‘ghaibana namaz-e-janaza’ after Begum’s burial.
While talking to the media at Al-Murtaza House in Larkana, she said that Begum was cruelly kept away from her children and they were not even informed of her demise. They came to know about her death after Geo News aired the report.
Ghinwa Bhutto told that they have been asked to come Naudero for burial ceremony but Begum’s homes were 70 Clifton and Al-Murtaza House, therefore her body should be brought here before burial.
Ghinwa said that she would not attend the funeral as her family is furious and she would pacify them by staying back. She said that she wants Begum’s last journey to remain peaceful.
The PPP-SB leader said that the government is keeping them away from Nusrat Bhutto even after serving 15 years of exile. She said that the family would offer ‘ghaibana namaz-e-janaza’ after her burial.
