Govt wasting resources: Nawaz

SAKRAND: PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said the government is wasting resources that are meant to serve the people and that he came to Sindh to fight for the rights of the common man, Geo News reported.

Sharif was addressing a large gathering in Sakrand at the residence of Muslim League member Asghar Randki. Nawaz demanded that compensation to flood affectees be increased to Rs100,000.

Earlier in Daulatpur, the PML-N chief said the government was not interested in solving problems of the masses and it was wasting resources. He said the corrupt were still occupying key posts despite plundering.

Sharif said that we are Pakistani and would continue to serve the nation.

When asked about the All Parties Conference (APC), Sharif said Pakistan's foreign policy needs to be synchronized with national interests while internal and foreign policies need to be amended.
