APC on Pak-US situation on Thursday

ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Conference (APC) convened by the Prime Minister to deliberate on the situation that arose after US hurled allegations against Pakistan will be held on Thursday, Geo News reported.

The APC which holds great significance in the backdrop of strained ties between the US and Pakistan, will be attended by Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Nawaz Sharif besides 58 other leaders of other political parties as well as Chief of Army Staff General and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.

During the APC Foreign Minister and DG ISI will brief the participants on internal and external challenges being faced by the country.

The relations between the two strategic partners have hit the lowest ebb in build up during the past weeks with mistrust and apprehensions in both the countries touching unprecedented heights.

The APC has been convened to bring the political and military leadership of Pakistan on one platform to hold consultations and hammer out a collective strategy aimed at protecting the stability and integrity of the country.
