Islamabad stocks jump by 149.99 points

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE-10) here on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend as the index closed 2,670.22 with gain of 149.99 points.
An equity dealer told APP that rumors of a cut of 100 basis points or 1 per cent in the discount rate in the coming monetary policy led the bullish rally in the local markets.
He said that local institution and local buyers took major positions in oil and fertilizer sectors.
He further added that oil sectors had performed better than other sector because of their earning and payout.
A total 73,025 shares were traded, which was up by 67,125 as
compared to previous day's trading.
Out of 119 companies, the price of 89 increased while the price of 30 decreased. (APP)
