Zimbabwe elect to bat against Kenya

KOLKATA: Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura elected to bat after winning the toss against Kenya in their final World Cup match at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.

Steve Tikolo, making his last World Cup appearance, led Kenya in the absence of Jimmy Kamande who was ruled out of the game due to a knee injury.

Both the African nations are out of contention for a place in the quarter-finals, with Zimbabwe having earned two points and Kenya none after five matches.
