GMT + 8 Hours Indian HC in Dhaka website hacked

DHAKA: The website of Indian High Commission in Bangladesh has been hacked by unknown Bangladeshi hackers.

The message apparently revealed what prompted the hacking-the aborted Teesta water-sharing deal that Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh was supposed to sign during his recent Dhaka visit.

It said: "September 8, 2011
Hacked by Bangladeshi Hacker

This site has been hacked by Bangladeshi hacker.....

India, Stop boarder killing. We are human, not bird. Its your responsibility to be friendly to Bangladesh.

We want to be your friend. Its your decision if you want to be our friend. Proud to be Bangladeshi...."
