Scattered rains across Karachi

KARACHI: Rain continued to fall across the province of Sindh while several areas of the metropolis once again received rain on Monday, Geo News reported.

Intermittent rain in several parts of the city led to the accumulation of water on major arteries and streets, causing traffic jams. A large number of commuters in private vehicles and public transport were forced to take alternative routes to get to their destinations.

The monsoon spell that began in the city on Saturday submerged most of the streets and thoroughfares and the rainwater continues to remain accumulated in several parts of the metropolis including the posh area of Defence.
