Rock stars of primary school rock

BIRMINGHAM: A BUNCH of primary school pupils have become unlikely internet stars after teachers transformed classes into a real-life School of Rock.

Nearly 140,000 people have watched their performance of an Iron Maiden classic since it was posted online.

And the children of Wattville Primary School in Birmingham already count the band themselves among their biggest fans - after they put the clip on their official Facebook site.

The Year 5 pupils can be seen displaying a bit of on-stage attitude during the performance - jumping up and down and punching their fists in the air.
They did their own version of the band's hit Flight of Icarus and completed their look with leather jackets and air guitars.
