Police besiege Katti Pahari on tip-off

KARACHI: Police have surrounded Katti Pahari near Orangi Town after receiving information about a Taliban Commander Mulla Akbar's presence, Geo News reported Sunday.
According police, Rangers and police, on a tip-off, laid siege to a Madressa and mosque situated on Katti Kahari. As they started a search operation, the police and Rangers were fired upon by unknown assailants. The police returned fire and the exchange of fire still continues.
Reinforcements of police and Rangers have been called after the start of gunfight.
