LAHORE: Five people have been taken into custody for interrogation in the kidnapping of Shahbaz Taseer, the son of former Punjab governor Salman Taseer, Geo News reported.

According to sources these individuals were taken into custody from Gulberg -2 area of Lahore. They have been accused of conducting reconnaissance on Shabaz Taseer. Sources add that the investigation team has not been able to locate those behind the kidnapping.

Shahbaz taseer was kidnapped from the Gulberg area of Lahore on August 26.
